In 2022, Fonta Flora Brewery grew and harvested marigolds at Whippoorwill Farm in Nebo, NC for our very first batch of naturally-dyed beanies that sold out in 4 hours in December of 2022.
In 2023, Solid State Clothing developed a new buttery yellow natural dye in Burlington, NC using a second extraction of the marigolds from our 2022 run.
Material Return knit COLLECTION beanies in Morganton, NC using landfill-destined 100% wool yarn rescued from a mill in NC.
Opportunity Threads sewed the tags on the beanie in Morganton, NC.
